The newspaper informs readers on creation in the Crimea of the First Center for certification of saplings of grapes.
THIS YEAR IN UKRAINE there WILL be the FIRST FROM CENTER of CERTIFICATION of SAPLINGS of GRAPES
It is planned that this year at National institute of grapes and Magarach wine (Yalta) will begin work the all Ukraine center for certification of a landing material of grapes. The deputy director of Magarach institute Vyacheslav Ivanchenko reported about it. According to V. Ivanchenko, today grapes saplings, both made in Ukraine, and import, don’t pass certification as it is accepted in the European countries. Therefore, wine-growers are compelled to take a word to producers. Now anybody from us doesn’t know, what quality we buy a landing material, here wrote on a label that a grade such, told that quality that, and isn’t present guarantees any – marked out V. Ivanchenko. According to him, happens so more often that, having planted grapes with the certain promised characteristics, wine-growers receive as a result of absolutely other result. It, in turn, is negatively designated on a development of the region. For example, in EU countries landing of new vineyards is allowed only by the certificated landing material, and it is strictly supervised – marked out V. Ivanchenko. – In the next years so will be and in Ukraine. According to the deputy director of Magarach Institute, for the purpose of development of national production of the certificated saplings in 2004 in common with specialists of the Crimean vinogradarsky enterprises "Izumrudny" (the Dzhankoysky area) and Kachinsky + (Sevastopol) started to create Institute matochnik of grapes who answer such production. Besides, at Institute created certified laboratory which meets modern requirements. The laboratory is already created and completely ready to work – marked out V. Ivanchenko. – We have an arrangement with the Ministry of an agrarian policy of Ukraine. According to him, it is planned that the saplings of the grapes which have been grown up as in the Ukrainian nurseries will go to Institute laboratory on certification, and that are brought from abroad.
