Vetroenergetika becomes the competitor of traditional power. The new Azov region of Donetsk region well-known for that wind power stations here work.
Donetsk region, understanding importance of a question of alternative power sources, in 1998 the power plant which is successfully realized developed the program of construction wind. Within this program works and the vetroelektrostantsiya which planned capacity should reach 58 MWt that will allow to provide with the electric power all New Azov area continues to be under construction in the New Azov area. It is non-polluting energy, such stations three in Ukraine, greatest of which New Azov. Construction is conducted at the expense of means of the government budget and fund. From the beginning of year of 37 thousand MWt it is realized and dumped in the Integrated power grid. The area, for comparison, consumes 12-14 MWt. Further the station will extend. The location of wind-driven generators was defined by experts therefore they are established in the district optimum for winds.
Environment of Priazovye allows vetroenergetike to develop. Experts argue that thanks to wind power in general it is possible to provide nearly a third of energy needs of Ukraine. But it for the present not cheap pleasure.
