JSC Krasnaya zvezda makes pneumatic seeders for exact seeding of seeds of propashny cultures, including universal UPS-12. The main advantages of this seeder are:
· Universality of the car, a complete set provides with its replaceable disks and soshnik crops of corn, sunflower and other cultures;
· possibility of a choice of row-spacings 450, 600, 700 and 900mm;
· possibility of a fast devastation of the seed bunker and the sowing device by use of the special hatch;
· ensuring the best removal of "superfluous" seeds at the expense of installation of an edge tripper device (in comparison with bifurcate) that increases stability of one-grain crops;
· voroshilka use in a mouth of the bunker of seeds excludes a svodoobrazovaniye and provides accurate work regardless of flowability of a sowing material;
· use of the increased diameter of a sowing disk at reduction of speed of its turns allows to provide the set norm of seeding with the best quality of distribution;
· the device of an observation port in a back part of the device allows to supervise seeding process at regulation of a tripper device of "excessive" seeds;
· providing bilateral, relatively a ryadka, consolidations of the soil by V – a figurative skating rink, with preservation of a loose coating over a seed, promotes its best germination;

Seeders are equipped with tukovysevny system and the electronic monitoring system behind engineering procedure of sowing, level of seeds and tukov in bunkers. The sowing section fastens to a frame by means of a parallelogramny suspension bracket that provides a stable course of a soshnik on depth.
Continuous giving of seeds to a disk of the sowing device is provided thanks to a mixer of seeds.
The seeder is completed with the hydraulic adaptation for a raising and lowering of markers. Fuel consumption on one hectare makes 3,95 kg. Installation of the modernized soshnik allowed to carry out sowing on higher working speed of 8,4 km/h that didn’t affect quality of sowing.
Today the plant works over design improvement, increase of convenience of service, reliability and indicators of quality of performance of engineering procedure.
