Characteristics of new grades of the grapes tested in private nurseries of the Crimean wine-growers are provided.
What charm – Nina and the Lowland!
Sergey Ilyukhin – the wine-grower from the village of Roshchino of the Dzhankoysky area (the house. ph. (06564) 58-3-75, mob. 8-050-281-21-79) with interest watched now maturing of berries on bushes tested by it at itself on a personal plot still little-known to the Crimean wine-growers of novelties of selection of the Lowland (A talisman x Radiant Kishmish) and Nina (A talisman x Tomaysky). At the Lowland – grades to a wound of average term of maturing, a cluster 600-800 gr., berry – 8-10 gr. At the beginning of maturing it began to turn pink, then accepted a violet shade, and then became red, to blackness suntanned. And taste – amazing!
The same occurred and to Nina’s berry, only it at it was slightly larger – 10-12 gr.
Tests showed that in the conditions of the Dzhankoysky area both these novelties freely maintain frosts to – 240S.
Among grades new to the Crimea in Sergey Ilyukhin’s collection there is an Ataman (a wound an average grade from the large – 800-1000 gr. a cluster and red and crimson oval berry it is powerful 10-12 gr.). A grade with frost resistance – 230S. Hybrid 2K (Talisman/cardinal) early, mass of a cluster 600-800 gr., berry – 6-9 gr. red and crimson, roundish; frost resistance – 230S.
Ringing of church bells – a grade early with a cluster 600-800 gr. and berry 7-10 gr., amber, oval. Frost resistance – 240S.
Glow (Roadside). A grade of average term of maturing with a cluster 500-800 gr., berry 10-12 gr., red and crimson, extended. Frost resistance - 230S.
Tuzlovsky giant. To Rann an average grade with a cluster in 600-800 gr., berry it is powerful 8-10 gr., amber, roundish. Frost resistance – 240S.
In a collection is very steady against frosts (-250S) children of Delight Ecstasy and Elegant superearly, and also PZVA hybrid – 7-2, a grade White Kokl, early – the White miracle (OV – the 6-personal computer) and Pleven (Prezentabl).
… And bewitching pure amber of the ripening berry which was gilded on the sun the Queen of Bulgaria. Grade early, cluster 600-700 gr., berry 6-7 gr. Frost resistance – 230S.
Too early, with the same cluster and berry Delight oval. But is more resistant to frosts (-250S).
Is at Sergey in collections and new wine grades: Fialkovy with black berry. Frost resistance – 260S. And the Brown-haired person too with black but roundish berry and the same frost resistance. And still our old Crimean grade of Tsitronny Magaracha with white amazing tsitronny taste berry. Its frost resistance too – 260S.
Thompson – kishmish American
Personal plot at the Simferopol wine-grower Peter Ponamorenko (Simferopol, Kachinsky, 72, ph. 44-25-77) tiny, it is possible to tell. But on everyone to a bush at it, paraphrasing a known riddle, six imparted grades sit on five, and even. It is already harvested, the leaf yet didn’t fall down, but it is visible already on gently brown color and on crackling when bending that the rod young already ripened, it will be soon possible to prepare chubuki on reproduction.
And in tiny nursery Peter Ivanovich grew up now saplings already well recommended at us in the Crimea of in a complex steady grades of grapes: Talisman, Gift to Zaporozhye, Wife of a shah Irina, Gala, Pleven steady, Victoria, Gold Don.
Is at it and a novelty. It, first of all American kishmish Thompson – a grade with berry without a stone, harmonious taste and good stability to frosts, and the main thing – to diseases.
And still a novelty – Shamil. Grade of selection SKZNIISiVA. A cluster – to 3 kg, berry – 8-10 gr., rounded oval, pink-violet, excellent taste; sugar in it 19 %. Berry transportable, a grade mildyu and oidiumy isn’t ill, a rod pure.
Dvukhletki and layers
The Simferopol wine-grower Vladimir Perekrestov (Simferopol, Poplar, 29-and, ph. 49-35-87) decided to make multiple copies grapes not only saplings, but also layers. Digging in rods in a trench, but grew up from them saplings well developed with the branched-out mochkovy root system. And now at it saplings – dvukhletka and the layers, capable to give a quite good crop in a year of disembarkation to a constant place are ready to realization.
